We also provide transport services with a low loader and semi trailers. We have 2 full-time mechanics to ensure all our cranes and equipment are regularly serviced and maintained to keep breakdowns to a bare minimum and to ensure that are kept in safe working condition at all times.
Botany Cranes has an experienced workforce operating and dogging the cranes as well as the management team including 2 site supervisors to visit sites to assess crane requirements prior to crane attending site and provide WHS documents as required with the assistance of our WHS officer.
Botany Cranes has been the exclusive supplier of mobile cranes and some transport to Garde Services for at least 15 years. During this time we have supplied cranes to load drums onto stands up to over 40 tonnes in areas throughout Sydney and Central Coast. During this time we have always been able to supply cranes as required and work with Garde management to visit sites prior to works to formulate the best and safest crane options and provide safety documentation as required.
Botany Cranes have also supplied cranes for Ausgrid throughout Sydney and some Newcastle sites to install large transmission poles and towers. During this time our crane crews and supervision have formed a working relationship with Ausgrid staff and know the procedures and training as required on Ausgrid sites. Botany Cranes has also carried out works for Ausgrid such as lifting kiosk sub stations and other equipment on Ausgrid sites.
Botany Cranes is under contract to Caltex Australia to provide crane hire services for maintenance and upgrade works at both Kurnell and Banksmeadow depot. A lot of these works are often emergency works where we have provided cranes at short notice at all hours of the day and night as required. These sites are very sensitive and all our crews have been trained to carry out works as per stringent site rules.
Botany Cranes are also under contract at Botany Industrial Park to supply mobile cranes in all plant areas to carry out maintenance and upgrade works as required. This is also another volatile site so all site safety rules and procedures are always followed as per the comprehensive induction procedure that all our crane crews have been through.
Botany Cranes are also the preferred supplier of mobile cranes to NAVY bases including Garden Island and Waterhen. To work on these sites our crane crews have all had to go through Australian Federal Police checks prior to working on site as all of the works are on highly confidential defence assets. At these sites we carry out works on all different NAVY ships and base buildings as required. We have also carried out intensive maintenance programs on Princess Cruise Ships where works were required 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Botany Cranes also work on various industrial sites around Sydney as well as various freight forwarders.
Botany Cranes also provide crane hire to sensitive freight companies installing MRI machines, CT scanners and other sensitive medical equipment all around Sydney and surrounding areas.
Botany Cranes also provide crane hire lifting telecommunication equipment on sites all around Sydney and other areas. We are the National Supplier to LinCon carrying out these type of works.
Botany Cranes were recently involved in the Rail upgrades at Kogarah and Bankstown stations.
Botany Cranes also have a huge customer base including building companies, air conditioning companies, roofing companies and marine industry providing crane works around Sydney and surrounding areas.
In addition to these above customers we also have a large customer base including some diverse works such as providing crane hire to the movie industry. Some of these movies have been Wolverine, Unbroken, Mad Max Fury Road, Hacksaw Ridge. We also supply cranes to the Extreme Sailing Event on Sydney Harbour each year.
Botany Cranes can supply crane hire to carry out works in all areas requiring cranes and are constantly updating our fleet of cranes and support vehicles to keep up with the ever changing needs of our customer base.
